Trusource is building the infrastructure for compliant agricultural exports in Africa.
Exporting agricultural goods to international markets like the European Union should be straightforward, but in reality it is slow, manual, and highly error-prone. As global regulations become stricter and buyers demand greater transparency, exporters are struggling to keep up with compliance requirements using outdated tools and processes.
Trusource is designed to replace this complexity with a single, integrated system that manages the entire export workflow.
Problem
A significant share of African agricultural exports never makes it past the port of entry. Up to 30% of shipments are rejected, often not because of product quality, but due to missing documentation, lack of traceability, or failures in the cold chain.
The root of the problem is how exports are currently managed. Exporters must handle more than a dozen documents per shipment, most of which are still processed manually or stored on paper. Information is duplicated across multiple actors (farms, warehouses, logistics providers) without a unified system of record.
This leads to constant inefficiencies. Teams spend hours every week preparing and verifying paperwork, while small mistakes can result in delays or rejected shipments. For perishable goods, even minor disruptions can translate into significant financial losses.
In practice, exporters are operating in a system where compliance is complex, fragmented, and difficult to manage at scale.
Solution
Trusource replaces this fragmented process with a single platform that connects every stage of the export journey, from farm to final destination.
As products move through the supply chain, Trusource captures and organizes data at the batch level, creating a continuous record of origin, handling, and storage conditions. The platform automatically generates the required export documentation and ensures that shipments meet international compliance standards before they reach the port.
By integrating farms, warehouses, cold storage, and logistics into one system, Trusource gives exporters full visibility and control over their operations. Cold-chain conditions can be monitored in real time, documentation is standardized and centralized, and all stakeholders work from the same source of truth.
The result is a more reliable export process: fewer rejected shipments, less time spent on manual work, and a significantly lower risk of costly errors.
Over time, Trusource aims to become the default infrastructure layer for agricultural exports in Africa, enabling transparent, compliant, and globally competitive supply chains.
